Guidelines for Authors and participation options
This page provides information on the various ways you can participate and contribute to PLASYS24.
Both oral and poster presenters are invited to submit a full paper manuscript with a length of 3 to 5 pages (including abstract and references). Submissions in the form of an extended abstract (1 to 2 page manuscript with a few results and references) are also accepted for presentation at the conference (oral or poster).
The manuscripts should be formatted according to the full paper template (download the template here). For the extended abstract submission the template can be downloaded here. Please use the English language in all the submitted manuscripts. More details are provided below.
Participation options:
There are 2 modes available. Please do state your preferred mode during the registration and submission process.
- Oral presentation (of full paper or extended abstract): Share your research findings with an audience through a quick presentation (5 minutes) that will trigger and lead into the discussion with other participants (5+10 minutes audience Q&A - debate): this is to enable for maximum interaction and help effective uptake of your work.
- Poster presentation (of full paper or extended abstract): Present your work in a visual format, allowing for interactive discussions. You can choose to deliver a flash presentation (without questions from the audience) of your poster as well (a pre-recorded video is highly recommended) with 2 to 3 slides to enhance posters’ visibility during the dedicated poster session and motivate the delegates to visit and further discuss with the authors. Physical posters would also be presented during coffee breaks in suitable areas and in a dedicated Session where delegates will be expecting you there to explain your work.

You can download an invitation letter from Conference Submission platform (https://cms.plasys.earth/user/125002/invitation-letters).
After logging in to your account, please click on “My invitation letters” on the left-side menu. Please keep in mind that not all authors are eligible for an invitation letter and being an author of a paper does not make you eligible for receiving an invitation. To make an author eligible for an invitation letter, please assign them as a "Presenting author" or a "Participant" through the edit screen of your paper. If you do not have access to do it because it is under review or accepted, please contact us.
