Ed Cook
Research Fellow, Circular Economy Systems for Waste Plastics, University of Leeds
Ed is a Research Fellow at the University of Leeds where he works on projects to reduce plastic pollution, boost the circular economy through the inclusion of waste pickers in solid waste management planning, and on the interface between waste and human health and the environment. He has worked on several global plastic pollution modelling efforts including the P2O model, for the OECD and the SPOT model. Ed has worked in the waste management and circular economy sector for more than 20 years; he is a Chartered Waste Manager and a member of the International Solid Waste Association.
