“As brand owners we don't have full control over the fate of our packaging, but we have a power to improve packaging design and to close the material loop. Together with governments and industry, we still need to work towards a reuse and recycling infrastructures that will allow our packaging to be either reused or recycled at scale .”

Feliks is currently leading Mars's global circular packaging strategy with a special focus on improving flexible packaging recycling. He is passionate about the circular economy and keen to develop systemic solutions to improve the recyclability of plastic and paper-based packaging. He has extensive experience in packaging design and recycling infrastructure and for more than 15 years he has been involved in various sustainability positions helping companies such as Renault, Tarkett and Danone to transition towards circular economy.
