Presentation title: Global analysis of critical dumpsite hotspots: towards limiting plastic pollution
Dr. Amani Maalouf is a Senior Researcher at the University of Oxford. She leads Waste Management Research at Oxford Sustainable Finance Group and is an Associated Researcher at the UK Centre for Greening Finance and Investment. Dr Maalouf serves as an Academic Advisor at St Antony’s College, University of Oxford, and is an Honorary Research Associate at Earth Engineering Center, Columbia University in the City of New York, USA. Dr. Maalouf has a distinguished record of international publications in high-impact peer-reviewed journals, conferences, and book chapters. She is chair of the Research & Innovation Working Group and organizer of the International Online Conference of the International Solid Waste Association (ISWA)-Young Professionals Group (YPG). She worked as a senior expert and team leader on multiple research and development projects funded by international institutions in more than ten countries.
